Start your way to becoming a 2018 Ontario Champion!

Location: Pierre Trudeau High School, 90 Bur Oak Ave, Markham
Age Groups: K-12 (based on 6 players, otherwise group merges)
Registration: Pre-registration and online payment only, should be done online by Nov 20th. Please check-in by 11:15AM on Nov,25th.

Tournament begins at: 12PM         5-round Swiss, clocks used if necessary,
bring your own clock highly reconmened
Ends around 5:30PM
Half-point byes are available for rounds1-4, please indicate any desired byes on the registration form.
All games will be CFC active rated
Prizes: each tournament 1st place gets a trophy plus a  gift-card,
2nd gets a silver medal
3rd gets a bronze medal
In the case of a tie for 1st place, play-offs will be used to determine the winner
Players tied for 2nd and 3rdwill all get medals
top 10% in each group will qualify for the 2018 Ontario Chess Challenge
Prizes/Certificates will be awarded by the mayor of Markham!
Registration: Email of parent; Cell number in case of emergencies; Full name；player‘s Birthdate ; Existing CFC rating; current  CCYC student or not； Byes requested for round 1-4
Entry Fees: $20 for CCYC students if pre-registered and paid online,
$30 for those who pre-registered and paid on-line before Nov 15th
$40 for those who pre-registered and paid on-line before Nov 20th
